Brief HistoryEstablished post Covid has been registered as a Non Profit Organisation in 2024, the Maruthupandiyar Educational Centre is functioning to contribute towards the vision envisioned by the FIRST FREEDOM FIGHTERS OF INDIA Mamannar Marudu Brothers to establish a cohesive, harmonious, dignified and unified patriotic society and to propagate the missions and contributions unleashed by these great Freedom Fighters. Towards this, MPEC strides to serve and uplift the predominantly rural community through quality education, career guidance, communal harmony and social empowerment.
1. From its humble beginnings, the trust started with just 4 students in rural and semi-urban Kariapatty, focusing on TNPSC exam preparation, over time it has expanded its initiatives to include competitive exam coaching, career guidance workshops, and scholarship schemes for deserving students now expands to few backward Towns of South Tamilnadu. Supported by a dedicated network of trustees, advisors, donors, and volunteers, the trust has guided numerous students towards academic success, Employment and Educational Support. Many beneficiaries have gone on to secure government jobs, earn professional degrees, and gain skill-based employment.
2. Today, the Maruthupandiyar Educational Centre continues to instill amongst student community core values of Obedience, Trustworthiness, Tolerance, Love, Patriotism, Hard Work, Honesty, and Health, and remains committed to the belief that education is the foundation for both personal and social transformation.
3. Facilitates monthly Sankatahara Chathurthy Pooja at A/m Maruthu Vinayagar Temple in the Narikudi Anna Chathiram, an endowment established by our Maamannars Marudu Brothers in the year 1785 involving the Haqdar appointed by the Maamannars and Local Public.
Timeline2024 – Foundation Year
Officially founded to honor the Marudhu Pandiyar brothers, champions of justice and education. Mission established: 'To provide quality education and guidance to underprivileged students and promote social harmony.
Early 2025 – Growth & Outreach
Launched TNPSC Group IV coaching classes and regular evening tuition programs. Conducted weekly and model tests to prepare students for competitive exams. Organized guest lectures and motivational programs to inspire young learners.

Expand the MPEC as a career guidance & support centre for rural students in Education, Employment and Enterpreneurship.
Competitive Exams
Extend Coaching in the Centres to cover all Employment Exams conducted by TNPSC and other bodies of State Government, Staff Selection Commission and Banking Recruitment Boards.
Expansion of Learning Centers
Expand the network of educational centres to multiple towns and villages in Tamil Nadu.
Sustainable Learning Centers
Provide digital learning resources in the Centres for free access to rural students.
Teachers Network
Establish a Teachers Network amongst working in Govt Schools of neighbouring Villages of our Centres to spot and mentor bright students through Technical and Economical support towards Academic and Sports development.
Free Tuition & Coaching Classes
Evening tuition for school students from the community, focused on academic improvement, Health and Sanitation besides personality development.
Mentorship
Matching the emotional and financial need of deserving high growth potential rural poor students with willing philanthrophers as mentors to help students in academic and/or Sports activities.
Student Sponsorships
Supporting bright students with study materials, learning devices, prizes and financial assistance for best performers.
